A secured home loan differs from an unsecured loan in that the secured loan borrows against one’s home as collateral, thereby reducing the risk to the lender.
As such, secured home loans often offer better interest rates than unsecured loans, but offer higher risk to the borrower, as defaulting on these loans can have greater consequences, such as fines, or even possible repossession of the home originally put up as the secured collateral (subject to the amount of the loan, of course).
As the interest rates for secured home loans are usually significantly lower than unsecured loans, more of the monthly payment goes towards paying off the capital, rather than paying the accrued interest.
The monthly payments are often more flexible in secured loans, affording the borrower more leeway in working out a payment plan that fits his or her needs. However, care must be taken not to use this as justification for taking out such a loan, as it is a financial contract between lender and borrower. Read more...

Once you have played just a few games of poker, you will have realized that no limit hold’em is a betting game, not a calling game. Exerting persistent pressure on opponents is a common characteristic of practically all professional poker players.
You know this feeling yourself from experience – basically every time someone bets into you. As you well know, it’s never easy to make a big decision with a marginal hand. In that sense, it is constantly better to be the aggressor in a hand, except of course you are trapping your antagonist. The idea of using aggression is to persuade your opponent to guess incorrectly about what you’re holding. Whether you want them to fold or call depends on the situation, but you always want him to make a error. Exerting pressure on your opponent encourages errors.
In the low limit games, you want to be very selective about the hands you play and the position you play them from. If you are discriminating enough, you can frequently get away with re-raising your opponent and winning a nice pot without ever revealing your cards, based on your strict image. Read more...

There is a popular adage that says: “Beauty is only skin deep” – the message being that whatsoever size we are, we ought to feel good about ourselves. All The Same, if one is a few sizes too big that fitting into decent clothing becomes unbearable; that we are diagnosed to have potential risk of suffering from deadly illnesses; and that social occasions become embarrassing and ego-smashing nightmares, it is too difficult to preserve a positive stance about self-imagery.
Yet, for every dilemma, there are solutions. To do away with excess body fat that causes so much embarrassment and possible health risks, we could try exercise regimens, diets, and pills. Physicians have also developed medical processes that remove fatty deposits from the body. One such technique is liposuction.
Liposuction was established in Europe in the late 1970s, and taking into consideration its its encouraging success in doing away with body fat and revealing the curves the body, its fame as a surgical operation for weight loss and body sculpting quickly spread all over the globe.

Have you been curious about those two numbers in your blood pressure reading? It’s amazing that doctors emphasize the importance of those numbers, while we don’t have a clue as to what they mean.
It is just like how a over filled water in a balloon damages it, the same way the arteries will get damaged. And this will lead to strokes and heart attacks. These numbers tells how fast and hard the blood is pushed towards the arteries.
120/80 mmHG this is how a blood pressure reading will look like. The first number points to the pressure the blood applies to your arteries when the heart beats. The second number points to the blood pressure when your heart is idle between beats.
People with blood pressure bit above than 120/80 is considered to be prehypertensive. And these people are often treated to maintain their blood pressure. A blood pressure is considered to be normal when it is at 120/80. Almost all people have this readings and some times bit lower.
The lower blood pressure number is considered to be a contributor to blood pressure for a long time. But recent studies have shown that the higher blood pressure number is also a risk when the person has crossed the age of 50. Read more...

A UTI is an infection of the urinary tract. While it is painful, it is usually not overly serious and is easily treated. The urinary tract becomes infected when bacteria is introduced into the tract. The most common cause of a urinary tract infection is from bacteria that lives in your digestive tract and is tranferred to your urethra. Once this bacteria enters the urethra, it travels upwards and can cause infection in the urinary tract or bladder. Sexual intercourse is a common cause of UTI’s because during sexual activity, bacteria is moved from the vaginal area into the urethra. Another cause of UTI’s is waiting too long to urinate. This causes your bladder to weaken, in which case it may not empty completely and some urine will be left in the bladder. This will increase your chance of a urinary tract infection.
An easy remedy for UTI infections is diet modification. Drinking large amounts of water throughout the day will help to flush out the system, ridding your body of bacteria. You should also avoid sugar and foods containing sugar, as these can encourage bacterial growth. Finally, increasing your consumption of Vitamin C, usually through the use of a supplement, will help to treat UTI infections. Read more...
