I don’t want to get too far, though, without letting you know who I am. I’ll be 30 years old this. I think the iPhone is the perfect compliment to a new business for a few different reasons. First, it gives you instant access to your email and calendar. This gives you the up to the second information that you so desperately need in today’s fast paced world. As a lawyer, it also allows you to put away that cumbersome paper calendar. Judges have become pretty used to seeing phones in the courtroom, making it even less of a problem.

Next, you have the world wide web at your beck and call. The iPhone is set up so that your experience on the internet is exactly the same as if you were sitting at your desk. This makes getting around very easy, particularly when you are looking for the statute you need or the latest sports score.

Third, the iPhone is really cool. Let’s be honest, pulling out an iPhone and messing around on the phone automatically gives you a bit of coolness for those around you. And you feel cool when using it. I mean, there are no keys! Take a minute to mess around with a buddy’s phone and you’ll immediately see what I mean.

If you are thinking about how to start a law firm and are considering phone options, think of the iPhone. You won’t be disappointed. I haven’t been. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
