Do you remember the cell phones from a decade or so ago? They were do big and bulky that you couldn’t carry them around with you like you can now, and were mainly owned by business men. Even they left them in their cars a lot due to the weight. Today is a different world; practically everyone has one and they have replaced landlines in popularity.
While we’d love to give our children cell phones for obvious safety reasons, we also don’t want to see them glued to one through the course of the day.
It’s a question all parents should ask themselves; at what age should I give my kid a cell? Do I have the answer? Well I have an opinion.
I personally think that no child should have a cell before they are a teenager, 14 being the earliest age. They will have a wider circle of friends by this age and be able to do a lot more unsupervised.
Even at this age, you should impress on your child that this is a phone for emergencies, to contact you if they need you. Read more...

Some special interest groups, politicians and the like are making weak claims and downplaying the benefits of electric cigarette, but a hospital in Tampa, Florida made a decision this past week to allow the use of electronic cigarettes within the hospital.
I had a personal experience at a hospital in Fredricksberg, Texas a week or two back, they had no objections to my smoking my GreenSmoke electronic cigarette in the hospital waiting room or corridors.
Even though, smoking is banned in many public places I have had no problems with smoking/vaping my Electronic Cigarettes, eSmokes, E cigarette anywhere. With the e Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes or eSmokes a smoker can get their nicotine fix as easily as coffee or soda drinkers get their caffeine fix.
Electronic Cigarettes or eSmokes, as they are often referred to, have benefited companies that allow smoking only in certain areas. The benefit is increased productivity. The reason is, employees are not required to go to a designated smoking area. Electronic Cigarette smokers/vapers no longer reek of the burnt tobacco smell like someone who smokes a tobacco cigarette…you know, that odor that’s stronger than 10 acres of fresh plowed garlic! In addition, there is no adverse affects to health from second hand tobacco smoke. It all translates into a large benefits for a company’s bottom line, especially needed in tough economic times. You’re merrily driving on the road, having your window open, trying to hear the radio, when suddenly : Boom, it is there! The feared panic attack! You are all of a sudden encircled in a flow of high-traffic on both sides, feeling very high or intoxicated with everything being imaginary or surreal. You’re dizzy, confused and just hardly realizing what is going on on. But you do know this : you have got a full-blown panic attack.
I know, because I’ve been through it. Not everyone feels like you are right or drunk, there are a spread of symptoms that you can experience. Other symptoms that you might experience are :
Heart battering Shaking uncertainty Dizzy Sick to your gut Feel a bit like you’re dying or going crazy
These are all extraordinarily common indicators. We do not experience each one of them at the same time. Some folk only experience a couple of these, other different ones every time. I do not believe there’s an answer why is that. Read more...

It is distasteful but true that panic attacks children! It is more agonizing because they are trusting and highly vulnerable. Most parents think that their children are under no pressure of bearing life’s responsibilities, meaning they are kept away from stress and worry. But this is more a misconception than reality, in fact panic attacks actually effect children, but the character of how they effect and form is a little different.
The AACAP ( an American research dep. of children ) defines Panic Attack as “recurring times of pain or / and intense fear, besides an amplified pulse and longer interval of breath. This time period is named ‘panic attacks’ and can survive somewhere between two mins to quite some hours.”
In order to prevent panic attacks in children you should look at the reasons and influences under which panic essentially effects the kid. Firstly attempt to work out his / her past events and observe their daily behaviour. Panic attacks in children can be simply treated by knowing and identifying the main cause. So following, are three safe ways in which you can follow to treat panic attacks in children : Read more...

Should you be interested in training in Cisco, the chances are you’re looking for a CCNA. Training in Cisco is designed for people who want to learn about routers and switches. Routers connect computer networks to different networks of computers via dedicated lines or the internet.
To take this course, you should be clear on computer networks and how they operate and function, because computer networks are joined to routers. Otherwise, you’ll probably struggle. You might look for a course covering basic networking skills (for example Network+, perhaps with A+) before getting going with CCNA. Look for a training provider that can offer this as a career package.
Find a tailored course that takes you on a progressive path to ensure you’ve got the appropriate skills and abilities before starting your training in Cisco skills.
Proper support should never be taken lightly – find a program providing 24×7 full access, as anything less will frustrate you and could put a damper on the speed you move through things.
Never purchase training courses that only support students with a call-centre messaging service outside of normal office hours. Companies will give you every excuse in the book why you don’t need this. The bottom line is – you want to be supported when you need the help – not when it’s convenient for them. Read more...

There’s nothing quite like a great dessert to finish of a good meal. We all know we shouldn’t, and we feel guilty eating it, but it’s hard to resist your favorite treats when they are them on offer.
A dessert at the end of a meal is a necessity for me, so you can imagine how many I’ve eaten in my time. Here are just a few that I have enjoyed.
Some of these you will instantly recognize, others you may not. The great thing about a dessert is that you can give them your own personal twist, so why not get online for the basic recipes and have a shot at making them?
If you like mousse made from regular chocolate, try it for a change using white. There is a long standing debate between brown and white chocolate, but I personally find them to be equally delicious.
Fruit and chocolate go so well together, I don’t know what more people don’t put them together. The fruity drizzles you can by these days meld do well with the chocolate in the mousse. Read more...

One of the most dangerous settings where panic attacks would arise is when one is driving. Driving requires someone’s undivided attention, not to mention a calm, pressure free attitude. When one succumbs to a panic attack while driving, he may fall into unwanted eventualities such as traffic disputes or accidents that might put his life ( as well as the lives of other passengers ) at risk.
So, to all of the drivers who are having Problems keeping their cool while on the road, then these are some good tips you can follow :
1. Don’t drive with a hot head. Have you been in a heated discussion before reaching your car? Then take five first before beginning the engine. Most accidents and panic attacks while driving root out with an emotionally driven mindset, thus it’s best to calm yourself first from the emotional high you’ve been thru before laying your hands on the wheel.
2. Hear good music. One of the best methods to keep your cool while on the road and avoid panic attacks while driving is by listening to your favorite music. The music keeps your senses stable and serves as a buffer from firing up your temper whenever a panic situation comes about. Before you even panic, you have just analyzed the situation and are finding a good solution to fix it. Read more...
