What a beautiful way to spend your time when you choose from Hawaiian vacations. These are the best vacations you will ever have and there are so many different packages that you can choose from. First you have to choose which part of Hawaii you want to see, or maybe you would like to see them all with a Hawaiian cruise. Whichever you decide to choose, you still have to make certain preparations to make each of your vacations a reality.
Picked which island you want to stay on might be tough, but once you do be sure to find out what you can do on that island, from activities, to hotel rooms. Keep your packing light and simple, you don’t need a big thick jacket. All the major tourist attractions accept ATMs, and there are many banks around on all of the islands.
Tipping in Hawaii is pretty well the same as any place else where the usual tip is 15 to 20 %. Don’t forget your baggage handler, taxi drivers and tour guides. If you are traveling from a country outside the US, instead of converting a lot of money, first see if your bank card will be accepted for whatever purchase you may be looking for at the time. This will eliminate a lot of problems when it comes to money. Read more...

Where is the “happiest place on earth ?” Disneyworld claims it is and, though it is a great place to enjoy once in a while, the most satisfying place to live on the planet is officially tiny Costa Rica, winner of the Happy Planet Index.
The Index measures three factors in 143 countries, encompassing 99 percent of the population on the planet: high life expectancy, high life satisfaction, and a low ecological footprint. Costa Rica came out on top by a large margin.
Essentially, the Index asked three questions: 1. Where are the places with the world’s longest life expectancy ( premise: it is better to live longer than die young)? 2. During one’s lifetime, where are people most satisfied with the quality of their life (premise: living longer but miserably is not very satisfying)? 3. What is the cost to the world’s resources (premise: sustainable development is better than exhausting resources)?
Most folks probably think the wealthiest nations will rank at the top of the list but they would be surprised. The richest, most developed nations fall somewhere in the middle of the Index. The highest-ranking Western nation is the Netherlands – 43rd out of 143. The United Kingdom places 74th and the United States is a long way back in 114th place. Read more...

Do you enjoy Disney theme parks? Are you a high school senior? If so, you may be able to participate in Disney Grad Nite, one of the most exciting opportunities available to grads.
If you want to enjoy Disney Grad Nite, you can attend either at Disneyland or at Walt Disney World. This means that whether you live out west or back east, you can enjoy one of the best experiences that the Disney parks have to offer. Because this night is only available a few times per year, it is good to plan your trip ahead of time.
With this opportunity, you can get unlimited rides on popular Disney attractions. During the party the park closes to the public, and only seniors who have signed up for the event and their chaperones can attend. This means that you can enjoy short lines to your favorite rides (like Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Pirates of the Caribbean), in addition to other events.
Because only young people and their chaperones are allowed, the event makes the park even more fun than usual. On this night teens can enjoy their favorite theme park without having to worry about parents pushing strollers and crying children. The night brings together many people of the same age, which allows for ample socializing. It can help seniors to meet new people from other schools. Read more...
