Your own preferences greatly influence your choice for computer monitors. Not like some years ago when you only had limited choices, there are many monitors nowadays which have various features and functions that would match your needs. People are not restrained to those big CRT monitors anymore, since there are thinner, lighter and slimmer monitors available today.
Because of a lot of choices, you might end up getting confused as to which one you’d probably get. Of course, the decision would still have to be made by you, which highly depends on your own options and budget. Here’s a little guide about the things that you should consider when buying a monitor.
Big or Small
Computer monitors come in a wide variety of sizes. If you would be using it for everyday use, you might want to get a 15-inch to 17-inch monitor. Although widescreen monitors are common nowadays, you can still get the regular ones in some shops, although they may be old stocks.
If you mainly use your computer for watching movies or for your home theater PC, you might consider buying a bigger one – something that isn’t smaller than 22 inches.
