Everyone in this economy seems to be stressed to the max. We’re working long hours, or we’re unemployed, or we’re worried about becoming unemployed. Stress is bad for us in itself, and it also contributes to other diseases and conditions that will only weaken us.
Stress is a natural part of life, and the body is meant to deal with it over the short term. It can face danger, get anxious, and then get over it. However, when the stress is chronic and lasts for years, it becomes a real problem. Stress can bring on acute pain, such as that of a migraine.
During prolonged stress, the muscles tighten or tense up. In fact, the Latin word “stringere” from which the word “stress” is derived means “to draw tight”.
Stress-related symptoms including pain originate in the brain. In times of stress, your brain releases hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol that can result in symptoms like perspiration and an increase in respiration, blood pressure and heart rate, all for the purpose of preparing the body for the fight or flight response. The release of these and other hormones, however, can cause the muscles to tense up, thereby resulting in pain and irritation of the nerves. Read more...

Should you be interested in training in Cisco, the chances are you’re looking for a CCNA. Training in Cisco is designed for people who want to learn about routers and switches. Routers connect computer networks to different networks of computers via dedicated lines or the internet.
To take this course, you should be clear on computer networks and how they operate and function, because computer networks are joined to routers. Otherwise, you’ll probably struggle. You might look for a course covering basic networking skills (for example Network+, perhaps with A+) before getting going with CCNA. Look for a training provider that can offer this as a career package.
Find a tailored course that takes you on a progressive path to ensure you’ve got the appropriate skills and abilities before starting your training in Cisco skills.
Proper support should never be taken lightly – find a program providing 24×7 full access, as anything less will frustrate you and could put a damper on the speed you move through things.
Never purchase training courses that only support students with a call-centre messaging service outside of normal office hours. Companies will give you every excuse in the book why you don’t need this. The bottom line is – you want to be supported when you need the help – not when it’s convenient for them. Read more...

Should you be interested in training in Cisco, a CCNA is in all probability what you’ll need. A Cisco training course is designed for people who wish to understand and work with routers and network switches. Routers connect networks of computers to other sets of networks of computers over dedicated lines or the internet.
Routers are linked to networks, so look for a course which teaches the basics (CompTIA Network+ as an example – maybe with the A+ as well) before getting going with CCNA. It’s vital that you’ve got an understanding of the basics prior to starting your Cisco training or you’ll probably struggle. Once qualified and looking for work, you’ll benefit from having a good knowledge of networks alongside your CCNA.
Should this be your first introduction to routers, then working up to and including the CCNA is definitely sufficient – avoid being talked into doing a CCNP. With a few years experience behind you, you will have a feel for if it’s appropriate for you to go to the level of CCNP.

PC and network support workers are ever more in demand in this country, as institutions rely heavily on their technical advice and capacity to solve problems. The hunger for such skilled and qualified people is growing at an impressive rate, as commercial enterprise becomes vastly more reliant on computers.
An important area that is sometimes not even considered by those considering a training program is that of ‘training segmentation’. This is essentially the method used to break up the program for delivery to you, which completely controls how you end up.
Many companies enrol you into a program typically taking 1-3 years, and deliver each piece one-by-one as you get to the end of each exam. On the surface this seems reasonable – until you consider the following:
With thought, many trainees understand that their providers standard order of study doesn’t suit. It’s often the case that varying the order of study will be far more suitable. And what happens if they don’t finish within their exact timetable?
In an ideal situation, you want everything at the start – so you’ll have them all to return to any point – at any time you choose. This allows a variation in the order that you move through the program as and when something more intuitive seems right for you. Read more...
